When we got back into New Mexico we stayed at Rockhound State Park just south of Deming, New Mexico. The picture above is of the Florida (flora-ee-da) mountains. The picture below is of our campground site in Rockhound. Very open, was very windy and hot.

Linda and I went hiking and rock hunting the next morning. Did not find any rock that were special, but we got a few to take home and make a rock pile/garden from our trip.

We ate lunch at Lake Luna, near Luna, New Mexico. It was a very beautiful lake. The pics don't show it but it was so windy that day, we had to eat lunch in the camper.
