Trip West - Day 2 in Yellowstone NP

On this day in Yellowstone we took the route that took us to Old Faithful and then to West Thumb Bay which is part of Yellowstone Lake.  We saw more animals (elk, buffalo and coyote).  More geysers (Old Faithful), mudpots, rivers, lakes.

This is a video of Old Faithful.
This is the walk around West Thumb Bay.

We stopped at Great Fountain Geyser, but it did not do anything while we were there.

On our way home the traffic was backed up on the road (which usually means an animal has been spotted), Linda got out of the truck and got these two pictures of a coyote.
